Protecting your privacy is important to us and we know that your information must be used responsibly. What information is collected?

For each visitor to our website, our web server automatically recognizes, collects and/or stores information such as the user's domain ID and referring website. The information collected is in an aggregate, non-individually identifiable form and is used to understand users' demographic information and usage patterns for more accurate reporting and to improve the effectiveness of our marketing.

Email addresses are collected from those who purchase products via our website and sign up for our email campaigns. These email addresses are for Cool Sets^®' use and customer communication only. We retain outside companies to create and distribute our email offerings. These companies perform work for coolsets.com, and we take appropriate steps to ensure that your information is used only to provide the services requesd by us, and not for any other purposes. From time to time we may collect information volunteered by the customer such as survey results, site registrations, etc. This information is collected solely for internal review. The information you voluntarily provide is used to improve the Cool Sets website and is not shared with other organizations for commercial use.

Purchasing products from Cool Sets' online store requires some "personal information", meaning individually identifiable information such as your email address, name, mailing address, telephone number, a credit card number, or persistent identifier (such as a customer number held in a cookie) which is associated with individually identifiable information, to enable you to have access to our services. Credit card numbers are used only to authorize payment and are not stored. Registering at www.CoolSets.com requires personal information such as your email address and other information you choose to provide such as mailing address(es) to make your checkout process quicker and more convenient.

Cool Sets will not share the personal information you provide on the Cool Sets Web sites or services with any other parties, except (a) with your consent, (b) as may be permitted or required by law or court order and/or (c) to persons or companies with whom Cool Sets contracts to carry out the internal operations of the site or our business (for example, to send you items that you have requested).

Site Security

Cool Sets' online store features Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption. During the checkout process, you will notice the URL changes to "https", indicating your information is protected by SSL encryption. SSL insures data security and prevents the decoding of your information by unauthorized individuals. Payments are processed via a 128-bit SSL connection to Authorize.Net, a leading provider of payment gateway services.

Cool Sets takes great care in maintaining the security of your personal information and in preventing unauthorized access to it through the use of appropriate technology and internal procedures. However, Cool Sets does not guarantee that unauthorized access will never occur.

All financial and billing information that Cool Sets collects through our web sites and Services is used solely to bill for the Services. Cool Sets does not use this billing information for marketing or promotional purposes. Except as we explicitly state at the time we request information, or as provided for in the Terms of Service, we do not disclose to any third party the information provided.
